The instructors are largely drawn from the ranks of the University's professoriate and academic staff. The Continuing Studies Program, except for the MLA program, is a non-degree granting program. Courses and events are offered in all four academic quarters, with over 400 courses planned throughout the year. The Continuing Studies Program provides adults from the surrounding communities the opportunity to take courses for the purpose of intellectual enrichment.
